1. INTRODUCTION

This Privacy Policy explains how Collaborative Ventures LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use Core48aii, a desktop application designed for local, offline-first workflows using a 48-pad spatial interface and a custom “Aii” (Augmented Intelligence Interface) methodology (the “Application”).

We are committed to transparency and privacy-by-design. Core48aii is intentionally built so that your work remains on your device, under your control.

By using the Application, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Application.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

A. User-Generated Content (Local Only)

Core48aii allows you to create and store content such as:

• Text entered into pads

• Application preferences and settings

• Templates, workflows, and checklists

• Custom pad titles, colors, and layout configurations

Important:

All user-generated content is stored locally on your device. Core48aii does not receive, store, view, analyze, or access this content in any way, except when you explicitly choose to send content to AI features (such as Ava), in which case only the selected content is transmitted for processing.

B. Local Application Data

The Application stores data locally using Electron browser-context storage (such as local storage) and files saved to your computer, including:

• Pad content and configurations

• Application preferences and settings

• Safety snapshots and backup files

‍

This data remains on your device unless you explicitly export, move, or delete it.

‍

Uninstalling the Application removes locally stored application data unless you have manually created backups.

‍

C. AI Features and Data Transmission (Ava)

Core48aii includes an optional AI assistant called “Ava” that allows users to generate responses based on content they choose to send.

‍

How AI Requests Work:

• AI features are only activated when you explicitly send content (such as a stack or Quick Prompt)

• Only the content you choose to send is transmitted

• Your full workspace, pads, and local data are not automatically shared

‍

Third-Party Processing:

• AI requests are securely routed through backend infrastructure for processing

• Requests are sent to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI) to generate responses

• These providers may process the content in accordance with their own policies

• Core48aii does not store AI request or response content on its servers beyond what is necessary to process and return the response

• Requests may be temporarily processed in memory for routing and response delivery but are not retained by Core48aii

What Is Not Shared:

• Your full pad layout or workspace

• Data you do not explicitly send to AI

• Local files, backups, or stored content

Important:

AI systems may generate inaccurate or incomplete information. Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated output before relying on it.

User Responsibility:

Users should avoid submitting sensitive personal, financial, or confidential information to AI features unless they are comfortable sharing such information with third-party AI providers.

D. Payment and Subscription Information

Core48aii uses Lemon Squeezy to handle payments, subscriptions, taxes, and billing.

‍

• Lemon Squeezy acts as the merchant of record

• Payment information (such as credit card details) is collected and processed entirely by Lemon Squeezy

• We do not store or process payment information on our own systems

• We may receive limited subscription-related metadata from Lemon Squeezy, such as:

• Subscription status (trial, active, canceled)

• Product tier

• Transaction identifiers

• Device-count or activation status metadata used solely for license enforcement

This information is used only to manage access to the Application.

E. Analytics and Diagnostics (Future, Optional)

At launch, Core48aii does not include analytics, telemetry, or tracking beyond optional AI request handling initiated by the user.

If analytics or crash diagnostics are introduced in the future:

‍

• They will be strictly opt-in

• They will collect only anonymized, aggregated usage data

• They will not include user-generated content

• This Privacy Policy will be updated before such features are enabled

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use information solely to:

• Operate and maintain the Application

• Manage licensing and subscription status

• Improve application stability and performance

• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use data for advertising, profiling, or resale.

4. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION

A. Local Storage

All primary application data is stored locally on your device. Data remains until you delete it, uninstall the Application, or remove it manually.

B. Backups and Safety Snapshots

Core48aii includes both automatic safety snapshots and user-initiated backups.

‍

The Application periodically creates a local, rolling safety snapshot (such as a “LATEST” file) intended solely for crash recovery and data protection. This safety snapshot is automatically overwritten and is not a substitute for a user-managed backup.

‍

Users may also create manual backup files using built-in tools. These backups are saved to the local file system and remain under the user’s control.

‍

Core48aii does not automatically upload, sync, or transmit safety snapshots or backup files.

‍

C. Future Cloud Features

If cloud-based or online features are introduced:

‍

• They will be optional

• You will be clearly informed

• Data will be encrypted in transit

• This Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly

5. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

We do not sell or rent personal data.

‍

We may share limited information only:

‍

• With Lemon Squeezy for billing and subscription management

• If required by law or valid legal process

• In connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), with notice provided where required

6. DATA SECURITY

Core48aii is designed as an offline-first desktop application. Security measures include:

• Local-only data storage

• Electron security best practices (including context isolation and sandboxing)

• No background transmission of user content

No system is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your device, operating system, and backups.

We cannot protect data from access by other applications or users with access to your device.

7. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

You may:

• Access and modify your content directly within the Application

• Export your data using built-in backup tools

• Delete your local data at any time

• Contact us with privacy-related questions or requests

If you reside in jurisdictions such as California (CCPA) or the European Economic Area (GDPR), you may have additional rights. Because Core48aii does not centrally store user content, most rights are exercised directly through control of your local device.

8. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Core48aii is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. COOKIES AND TRACKING

Core48aii is a desktop application and does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking technologies. Local storage is used solely for application functionality.

10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Application may link to external services such as:

• Lemon Squeezy billing and account portals

• Documentation or support pages

These services are governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party practices.

11. INTERNATIONAL USERS

Core48aii is operated from the United States. Because user data is stored locally, international data transfers are minimal unless future cloud features are enabled.

12. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Application evolves. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date and, where appropriate, notifying users within the Application or via email.
